our office to schedule an appointment with one
of our certified orthotists.
Please bring
your health card, a doctor’s prescription
or referral, as well as any benefits statements
you will be using.
An orthotist
will make an assessment based on your prescription
and may cast depending on the device you require.
Then an appointment must be scheduled to fit the
device and any adjustments that need to be made.
A follow up appointment to check your progress
with the device will also be provided.
For adjustments
to devices, please make an appointment.
For minor repairs,
such as replacing straps or pads; you can call
the office and arrange to see an orthotic technician.
There is a six month warranty on all orthotics.

and Seating or Ambulation Aids referrals- please

On Site Appointments
We can offer on site appointments
in the GTA with an orthotist or a representative
from the wheelchair/seating department.
For example, we have provided
service to clients at their home or at a facility
who have been referred to us by a therapist or
doctor from various healthcare facilities such
as Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Bloorview
Macmillan, Bridgepoint Hospital , Baycrest Hospital
.
There is a service fee for travelling to facilities
or private residences.

Toronto Orthopedic
holds satellite clinics across the GTA. These
are mostly pediatric clinics held with an orthotist,
physiotherapists/ occupational therapists and
